Privacy policy

Proofsy (“we”, “us”) provides artwork proofing and approval tools. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and the rights you have under UK GDPR.

Data we collect

Account holders: name, email address, and workspace details, processed by our authentication provider (Clerk). Client reviewers: the name and email address entered before commenting or approving, recorded against those actions. Files: artwork uploaded to proofs, stored with our storage provider (Cloudflare R2) and deleted according to your plan’s retention period.

How we use data

We use personal data to operate the service: authenticating users, attributing comments and approvals, sending notification emails, and billing. We do not sell personal data.

Retention and deletion

Artwork files expire automatically: after seven days on the Free plan and one year on the Pro plan. Approval records, comments, and activity history are retained as an audit trail. You can request deletion of your workspace and account data at any time.
